PAWS WITH A CAUSE
The HSNWIA is grateful for the support we receive from the community we serve. The HSNWIA would like to extend a special thank you to Casey’s General Stores for hosting our donation cans Memorial Day through Labor Day 2011.
In addition to fulfilling the goals in our Mission Statement with regard to providing quality pet care while finding good homes for the animals, we look for ways to give back to our community. The Pause With a Cause program was developed by the Humane Society of Northwest Iowa. It focuses on pet responsibility and education for the children, and pet therapy for the elderly throughout the counties served by the HSNWIA. Pause With a Cause has for a goal to put the paws of healthy, adoptable animals into the hands of people who may not otherwise have the chance to experience the love and affection of a family pet. If you would like to help with this program as a volunteer, contact the HSNWIA at (712) 338-2738. If you cannot volunteer, but would still like to help, you can send a donation to:
