Mick aka Wilson
Adoption date: February 14, 2009

Editor's Note: Mick aka Wilson has a story worth telling.   Check back to read about Mick when he first came to the shelter and how, with patience and work, he was transformed.  We will even post a couple of videos of him in the beginning.  He is a truly "saved" dog and we are so pleased that his adoptive family appreciate him and love him.

Dear HSNWIA Staff,

I wanted to send you this letter to let you know how Mick is doing.  He is such a nice dog.  We changed his name to Wilson which he learned very quickly.  He seems to be quite bright.  He is almost half way through an obedience course and is picking commands up very quickly.  he knows "sit", "stay", "wait", "heel" and "stop" (used before we cross a busy street). He loves to play and has his toys spread all over my office.  His favorite toys are his frisbee, rope, and any tennis ball he can get his mouth on (he is not above stealing balls from the neighborhood dogs).  I can't believe nobody scooped him up sooner, but I want to thank you for taking such good care of him for so long until I could find him.

Take care a pelase know that you are appreciated.

Sincerely,

Harry, Terry, Ryan, Harrison & Wilson
