Fiver, the therapy bunny
Fiver is a young Dutch Rabbit who has become a wonderful addition to our PAWS with a Cause program. She brings soft, quiet affection to residents of care facilities all over our 6-county area.
Recently, Fiver made a new friend. Tillie is a Ridgeback Tortoise who was surrendered to the HSNWIA. As you can see, Fiver and Tillie thought it would be fun to act out the famous "Tortoise and the Hare" fable.
The race is on!
You can visit Fiver at the HSNWIA. Tillie found a wonderful home where she has a huge tank and lots of room to roam.

Fiver has been in our PAWS With A Cause Program for a little over a year, and while she loves going to the care facilities and getting all of the attention, she misses rubbing fur with her own kind. We recently heard of another bunny living alone whose "Mom" said was lonely for his own kind too. We put the 2 bunnies together and they instantly became friends. And, most of the time they get the 'run of the house!' Below are pictures of Fiver with her new friend Donald.
